Celebrities across the globe continue to celebrate Pride Month as allies of the LGBTQIA+ community. Stars including Lady Gaga, Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus and many more have participated in marches and other events to spread love and messages of equality. Taylor Swift, who is known to use her celebrity to fight for positive change, kicked off Pride Month on June 1, 2019 when she performed in a rainbow ensemble at iHeartRadio’s Wango Tango festival. Taylor has also honored as the LGTBQIA+ ally at the 31st GLAAD Media Awards in March 2020. In 2019, Lady Gaga performed and gave a powerful speech at the Stonewall Day Concert in 2019.
